  • Three vehicle collision leads to impaired driving arrest

    On March 26, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m. members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bath Road and Queen Mary Road.

  • Officers locate and return dog to owner

    On March 26, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m. two officers conducting routine patrol located a dog which appeared to be lost in the west end of the city. The dog appeared to be well taken care of and groomed.

    On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit successfully concluded a month-long investigation into an individual involved in drug trafficking in the Front Road and Days Road area of Kingston, Ontario.

  • Kingston Police Drug Warrant Leads to Three Arrests

    On March 20, 2025, the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit, in collaboration with the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit, executed a Justice of the Peace-authorized drug warrant at a residence in the Weller Avenue and Compton Street area of Kingston.

  • Police investigating theft of alcohol

    The Kingston Police are requesting the public’s assistance regarding a theft of alcohol investigation.

     

  • 2025 Youth In Policing Initiative applications are being accepted

    Kingston Police, with funding made available through the Ministry of Children and Youth 
    Services, is again offering full-time summer employment through the Youth In Policing 
    Initiative (YIPI).

  • Kingston Police have arrested a federal offender for sexual based offences while on statutory release.

    On the afternoon of March 12, 2025, a female victim utilizing the Rideau Trail system between the North end of Queen Mary Road and the south end of Parkway was accosted and then sexually assaulted by a male not known to her.  

  • Police appeal to public for information regarding possible stranded individual

    On March 16, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m. members of the General Patrol Unit responded to a call for service on the south side of Highway 401 between the Montreal Street exit and the Highway 15 exit regarding a person being stranded on a small piece of land waving their arms for help.

  • Police seek assistance identifying fraud suspect

    The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in several incidents of fraud throughout the city.
