Kingston Police Joins Provincial Bail Compliance Dashboard to Enhance Community Safety

Kingston Police has officially onboarded the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Provincial Bail Compliance Dashboard (PBCD), further strengthening its ability to monitor high-risk offenders in the community and enhance public and officer safety.

The Provincial Bail Compliance Dashboard is a situational awareness and investigative tool managed by the OPP that provides cross-jurisdictional and inter-agency information to police services across Ontario. The dashboard supports officers in managing individuals who have been released on bail for firearms-related offences and crimes against the person offences.

The PBCD provides critical information about individuals released on bail for a broader range of high-risk offences, allowing officers to more effectively monitor compliance with court-imposed conditions. Through enhanced information sharing and near real-time access to data, officers can proactively identify and respond to potential bail violations.

"Joining the Provincial Bail Compliance Dashboard strengthens our ability to monitor high-risk offenders and supports our commitment to community safety. This tool provides frontline officers with timely information that enhances situational awareness, improves officer safety, and supports effective enforcement of bail conditions." – Chief Adam MacIntosh.

The dashboard is available to all police services across Ontario and represents a province-wide effort to strengthen bail compliance through enhanced collaboration, information sharing, and coordinated enforcement.

Kingston Police is committed to leveraging innovative tools and partnerships that improve public safety and support effective policing throughout our community.
