Citizens Police Academy Applications for 2026 are now open!
"A great opportunity to learn about your police service, what we do, and how we do it."
Kingston Police is proud to announce the return of the highly successful Citizens Police Academy Program. This program provides opportunities for members of our community to learn about their local police service, with exposure to see first-hand what we do and how we do it.
The candidates will be given the opportunity to view numerous areas of the service and some of our community partners. The Academy will provide demonstrations, presentations, and voluntary participant interactions.
We are seeking individuals who are at least 18 years of age and older that represent a wide range of ages, occupation, and reasons for participating.
Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen and current resident of Kingston.
A Criminal Record Check will be required at no cost to the applicant.
