Officers from police services across Ontario joined forces on Friday, May 22, 2026, as part of a “Modified and Unsafe Vehicle Enforcement Course” hosted by the Waterloo Regional Police Service.

Kingston Police are warning residents about an increase in sophisticated scams involving scammers posing as bank investigators or financial institution security staff. Scammers are using spoofed phone numbers that appear legitimate, making it look like the call is coming directly from your bank or credit union.

On May 24, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of the Kingston Police Patrol Team responded to the area of Lansdowne Street and Adelaide Street following report of an individual who had broken into a vehicle and stolen several items, including credit cards.
