Wanted Person Arrested Following Multi-Unit Investigation

Kingston Police have arrested a wanted individual following an extensive and coordinated investigation involving multiple Kingston Police units and assistance from partner police services.
The accused was wanted on two outstanding warrants in relation to separate violent incidents and associated weapons offences, occurring in the Belle Park area.
Over several days, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit conducted extensive investigative efforts to locate the accused, including surveillance operations and follow-up investigative work.
The investigation involved members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit, Patrol Division, Emergency Response Unit (ERU), Canine Unit, and Drone Team. Kingston Police also received valuable assistance from the Ottawa Police Service during the course of the investigation.
On September 3, 2026, officers located and arrested the individual.
The 28 year-old individual was charged with:
- 1 x Assault with a weapon or imitation weapon
- 1 x Possess weapon
- 1 x Use firearm/commit indictable offence
- 5 x breach of probation
The accused was held in custody to attend a bail hearing.
