Police search for UAL inmate

The Kingston Police are actively searching for an inmate who was unaccounted for during the 11:15 a.m. count at the minimum-security unit of Collins Bay Institution on September 24, 2026.

49-year-old Mason Jenkins is described as a white male, 5’9, approximately 255lbs with a fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair, currently shaved bald. Jenkins was last seen wearing a light green jacket, blue jeans and rubber boots. 

Jenkins is currently serving a life sentence for First Degree Murder and Possess Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Anyone with information pertaining to Jenkins whereabouts is asked to contact Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 ext. “0”
