Ottawa Police Officer Arrested and Charged by Kingston Police

A member of Ottawa Police Service has been arrested and charged by Kingston Police in connection to off-duty incidents.

In March 2026, Kingston Police received a request from the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) to conduct further investigation into an OPS member who had been arrested and charged with one count of assault and one count of criminal harassment. Further investigation by Kingston Police provided reasonable grounds to further charge the accused with one count of careless use of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm. The accused was re-arrested on April 27^th, 2026.
