Arrest made in relation to Leroy Grant Drive homicide.

On August 15, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m. members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit arrested an individual outside a local business in relation to a homicide which occurred on Leroy Grant Drive in July 2024.

34-year-old Kyle Pyke of Kingston was arrested and charged with second degree murder and breach of release conditions. Pyke was transported to Kingston Police headquarters where he was held for a bail hearing on July 16, 2024.

Members of the Kingston Police Major Crime Unit are still actively investigating this incident.
