Colouring Contest

Contest Overview

Kingston Police is inviting young artists to participate in our Chief for a Day Colouring Contest. Children are encouraged to showcase their creativity by colouring the official contest page for a chance to be selected as Chief for a Day with Kingston Police.

The winning participant will enjoy a special behind-the-scenes experience with Kingston Police and be recognized as Chief for a Day on a date to be determined by Kingston Police.

Eligibility

• Open to children ages 6-12 years old.
• Participants must reside in the City of Kingston or surrounding area.
• Only one entry per child.

How to Enter

Participants must:

1. Complete the official Kingston Police Colouring Contest page. Print the official colouring page from our website, or pick-up a copy at Kingston Police Headquarters front desk.
2. Clearly print:
• Child's first name
• Age
• Parent/guardian name
• Phone number
• Email address
3. Submit the completed entry by the contest deadline.

Entries may be submitted:

• In person at Kingston Police Headquarters front desk; or
• Scanned and emailed to corporate_communications@kingstonpolice.ca

The deadline to submit is December 4, 2026. 

One (1) grand prize winner will be named Chief for a Day.

The experience may include:

• Meeting the Chief of Police
• A tour of Kingston Police facilities
• Meeting police officers and civilian staff
• Learning about police equipment and community safety programs
• Participating in photo opportunities

The date of the experience will be determined by Kingston Police and communicated to the winner's parent or guardian.

No cash value is associated with the prize and the prize is non-transferable.
