The Finance unit is comprised of 3 members, the Director of Finance, Finance Assistant and Payroll Clerk. 

The Finance Unit manages all the financial operations of the Kingston Police. The services they provide include annual budget preparation, budget and financial analysis, purchasing services, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.

They have overall responsibility for monitoring all financial activities on an annual operating budget of more than $47 million.
