Three arrested after commercial break and enter

On October 21, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m. security surveillance cameras at a restaurant in the area of Arlington Park Place and Midpark Drive showed two individuals had broken into the business.

Police were contacted by the security surveillance company and members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division responded to the area. On their arrival the officers located two individuals fleeing the area. The individuals were pursued on foot until they entered an awaiting vehicle parked nearby.

The vehicle then left the area at a high rate of speed, nearly striking the officer’s who had been pursing the individuals on foot moments before. The vehicle was last seen travelling west bound on Taylor Kidd Boulevard.

Other officers attended the area in an effort to locate the vehicle while communications staff notified the Ontario Provincial Police in the event the vehicle entered their jurisdiction.

A short time later, members of the O.P.P encountered the vehicle which subsequently fled from them. The vehicle was then located, abandoned, in the area of County Road 4 and Millhaven Road.

Members of the O.P.P established containment of the area and with the assistance of an O.P.P K9 located the three individuals involved in the break and enter.

A 28-year-old individual of Kingston was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of proceeds of crime and breach of probation.

A second individual a 27-year-old of Kingston was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of proceeds of crime and breach probation.

A third individual, a 48-year-old from Stouffville was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of proceeds of crime, breach of probation, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and fail to stop for police.
