Police seek public assistance with break and enter investigation

On December 15, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m. members of the Kingston Police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the area of Alfred Crescent and Barbara Avenue.

Upon arrival police discovered two suspects had left the residence on foot. In response to this information Kingston Secondary School, Regiopolis Notre-Dame Catholic High School and Molly Brant Elementary School were placed in a hold a secure for precautionary measures while a search of the area was conducted.

At 11:19 a.m. the hold and secure was lifted, as it was determined there was no threat to any students or citizens in the area.

Further investigation has confirmed that the suspects were in possession of a firearm during this incident. The firearm was transported to the incident inside of a neon-colored bag.

Police have also discovered that a black Dodge Ram 1500 was driven to and from the scene. Investigators are now seeking public assistance in identifying the owner of the truck. The truck has two small stickers/decals in the bottom corners of the rear window.

Investigators believe this was a targeted attack and that there is no perceived risk to public safety.
