Police seek public assistance identifying arson suspect.

Members of the Kingston Police Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in an arson investigation.

On January 7, 2026, at approximately 2:00 a.m. a fire was set by the suspect in the vestibule of a local downtown business located in the 300 block of Princess Street.

The fire, which was put out by Kingston Fire and Rescue, caused approximately $10,000 worth of damage. No one was injured during this incident.

Anyone with information pertaining to the suspect’s identity is asked to contact D/Cst. Fleming at a mfleming@kingstonpolice.ca
