Police seek assistance in hit and run investigation

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a driver involved in a hit and run investigation.

On January 28, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m. the complainant and another driver were involved in a motor vehicle collision in the area of Princess Street and Sir John A MacDonald Boulevard.

The vehicle which struck the complainant’s vehicle is described as a silver 3^rd generation (1996-2002) Toyota 4 Runner bearing British Columbia marker ‘WL7 93N’.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a South Asian male between the ages of 20-30 years old. At the time of the incident the driver was wearing a black North Face jacket and a green hooded sweater.
