Police investigating incident involving firearm

Members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating an incident involving a firearm which occurred this morning, November 1, 2025, at approximately 5:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Conacher Drive.

While the incident is still in its infancy, investigators do not believe there is a risk to public safety.

No one was injured during the incident. Residents should expect an increased police presence in the area while the incident is investigated.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have doorbell or security camera footage in the following areas to review their footage from the time of the incident; Conacher Drive east toward Sutherland Drive and Montreal Street, as well as Wilson Street to Drennan Street.
