Police investigate fatal motor vehicle collision

On Saturday June 7, 2025, approximately 6:00 p.m. members of the Kingston Police responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle at the intersection of Brock Street and Palace Road.

Through the course of investigation, officers determined a motorcycle travelling southbound on Palace Road struck the side of a pickup truck which was travelling westbound on Brock Street.

The 36-year-old driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

The roadway remained closed for a significant period of time while members of the Kingston Police Traffic Unit investigated.

No other parties were injured during this incident. The investigation is on-going.
