Kingston Police seek public assistance identifying suspects and vehicle involved in weapons offence

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying two suspects and a vehicle involved in a weapons offence which occurred on March 5, 2026.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. a citizen observed two individuals firing a rifle into a wooded area at the far west end of Woodbine Road. The suspects were in the parking lot of 1575 Woodbine Rd, Kingston West Free Methodist Church. Police were contacted however the individuals had left prior to police arrival.

Responding officers located spent casings on the ground in the area the suspects were observed.  It is believed the suspects were target shooting a sign and barrel. They were shooting in a southeast direction toward Taylor Kidd Boulevard. The area consists of an open field, a wooded area and walking trails which are accessible from Taylor Kidd Boulevard.

The vehicle is described as an early 2000’s model white 4-door Pontiac Grand Am. The suspects appear to be adult males, one of whom is wearing a plaid pattered winter jacket with blue jeans while the other is dressed entirely in black and wearing a hooded sweater with a graphic on the back.

The firearm is described as a rifle with a mounted scope and sling attached.

If you believe you see this vehicle or these individuals, please do not approach and contact 911 immediately.
