Kingston Police encourage residents to sign up for CAMSafe Program.

The Kingston Police are encouraging residents to sign up for a community safety initiative that bridges the gap between law enforcement and the public by creating a centralized registry of private security cameras.

Members of the public can register their cameras voluntarily, providing law enforcement with valuable resources to enhance investigations. This innovative platform empowers police officers with a streamlined, map‐based interface to locate and contact participants, fostering collaboration and improving community safety.

Since its inception, CAMSafe has grown into a trusted tool used by police services across Ontario and beyond, with scalability into other provinces in development. By focusing on community connections, CAMSafe ensures a seamless and efficient experience for both public registrants and officers.

CAMSafe.ca is a voluntary community‐based initiative that connects public and police resources through registered CCTV cameras to enhance safety and support investigations, helping make our neighborhoods safer together.
