Kingston Police Disrupt Drug Trafficking Operations with Two Warrants and Firearm Recovery
Loaded firearm and fentanyl located as a result of search warrant
At the start of November 2025, members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) began an investigation into an individual believed to be trafficking fentanyl from their residence located in the area of Montreal Street and McCauley Street.
The investigation finalized on December 4, 2025, with the execution of a traffic stop as well as a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant at the individual’s residence.
During the search of the premise members of the DEU located the following items:
· Loaded Sig Sauer semi-automatic 9mm handgun
· Two rounds of 9mm ammunition
· Two replica handguns
· Red dot sight designed for use with a handgun
· 502.8 grams of fentanyl
· 138 oxycodone pills
· Large quantity of Canadian Currency
The estimated street value of drugs seized exceeds $75,000.
A 21-year-old Kingston resident was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), possession of proceeds of crime and multiple firearm related offences.
A 22-year-old Kingston resident was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (oxycodone) and resisting arrest.
Both individuals were held in custody for a bail hearing.
Kingston Police Street Crime Unit Concludes Fentanyl Investigation
On December 4, 2025, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit (SCU), in collaboration with the Community Oriented Response and Enforcement Unit (C.O.R.E.) and Uniform Patrol members executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Montreal Street and Hickson Street.
The following items were located during the search of the residence:
· 430.8 grams of fentanyl
· 5.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine
· Large quantity of Canadian Currency
The estimated street value of drugs seized is $65,000.
A 34-year-old Kingston resident was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
A 33-year-old Kingston resident was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both individuals were held in custody for a bail hearing.
