Police seek public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a weapon offence

On October 27, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m. a weapons offence occurred in the area of the 1100 block of Division Street in Kingston’s north end.

 

On this date the suspect approached a youth outside of a convenience store at this location and brandished a gun while speaking obscenities. The youth was able to quickly leave the area unharmed and the suspect was last seen running toward the shopping plaza located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Division Street and Benson Street. The suspect was unknown to the involved youth.

 

The suspect is described as Caucasian with a slim build and short brown hair. He was also wearing glasses and had a tattoo of a bearded man with a fedora/cowboy hat on the back of his right forearm. He was wearing a grey hoodie with black shoulders and a green ball cap. He was also wearing a blue/black/white backpack with black shoulder straps.
