Kingston Police make arrest in online child pornography investigation.

Members of the Kingston Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit arrested a local individual after an investigation revealed the individual was involved in writing child pornography and engaging in acts of bestiality. 

In late February 2024, investigators received a report of an individual engaging in sexual conduct online possibly involving young children. Through the course of investigation investigators were able to ascertain the individual’s identity and location in Kingston.

A further investigation revealed that the individual had been engaged in making written child pornography online. Additionally, investigators discovered the individual was involved in acts of bestiality and had distributed footage of these acts online. 

On March 6, 2024, a 36-year-old Kingston individual was arrested at a residence in the city’s east end. The individual was transported to Kingston Police headquarters where they were held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.

The individual is charged with one count of make child pornography and one count of bestiality.
