Calls for Service from July 11, 2018

Kingston Police had 130 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on July 11, 2018. Of these, 100 calls occurred in the city central area, 24 in the west end, 3 in the east end, and 1 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

 

  • 3 domestic calls
  • 5 assault calls
  • 1 sexual assault
  • 7 harassment calls
  • 5 undesirable calls
  • 1 drunk call
  • 1 alarm call
  • 6 noise complaints
  • 2 missing person calls
  • 6 Mental Health Act calls
  • 5 medical assist calls
  • 7 assist citizen calls
  • 3 break and enter calls
  • 137 theft calls
  • 3 mischief calls
  • 5 motor vehicle collisions
  • 6 driving complaints
  • 17 suspicious activity calls

 

There were 8 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 6 men and 2 women, between 17 and 52 years of age, for the following: unlawfully in a dwelling, three counts of theft, possess identity document of another without lawful excuse, utter threats to cause death, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, assault, harassment by threatening conduct, two counts of breach recognizance, and three counts of breach probation.
