UPDATE: Police Seeking Driver who Fled after Causing a 3 Car Collision

A 37-year-old local man has been charged in relation to a hit and run involving multiple vehicles that occurred on February 8, 2018.
On February 9, 2018 the investigating officer was able to identify the accused and locate the vehicle involved. The accused was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving, fail to remain at the scene of a collision, and drive no licence.

On February 8, 2018 at approximately 3:00 p.m. the suspect was driving southbound on Victoria Street. At Park Street the suspect rear ended a vehicle, pushing it forward and into two other vehicles. The suspect then spun around and fled northbound on Victoria Street.
The male suspect was driving a blue van, possibly a Dodge Caravan or Pontiac Montana, with partial licence plate “BLTY”. The vehicle will have front end damage.
