Update: Pair Wanted for Shoplifting and Theft from Donation Jar

On October 10, 2017 at approximately 3:30 a.m. a male and female entered a gas station/restaurant location on Centennial Drive. While in the restaurant area the pair stole the money from a Muscular Sclerosis donation jar.

 

On December 19, 2017 a 41-year-old Bath man was arrested in Toronto on the strength of a warrant for multiple thefts. The accused was transported to Kingston police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.

 

The accused was charged with three counts of theft. A 34-year-old woman is still be sought in relation to the same offences.  

 

 

ORIGINAL RELEASE:

 

On October 10, 2017 at approximately 3:30 a.m. a male and female entered a gas station/restaurant location on Centennial Drive. While in the restaurant area the pair stole the money from a Muscular Sclerosis donation jar.

 

The pair are also suspects for previous shoplifting incidents at the same location. The pair used a backpack that was for sale and filled it with various items before leaving without paying. This happened on September 8 and again on September 15, 2017.

 

Two possible related vehicles include a black pickup truck, possibly a Ford Platinum or Special Edition with a Newfoundland sticker on the rear window and a white Chrysler Dynasty.

 

The thefts were later discovered on surveillance video and reported to police.
