Youth Charged after Pulling Fire Alarm at Police Headquarters

A 15-year-old local youth is facing charges after an out of control weekend ended with pulling the fire alarm at police headquarters.
On April 15, 2018 police were called to a residence for an out of control youth. Officers learned the youth had been staying out till the early morning hours and then coming home either on her own or by strangers, while allegedly high on controlled substances, and at one point striking her younger sibling during a dispute over cellphone use. No suitable residence could be established and the youth was brought to police headquarters. While officers were in communication with Children’s Aid Society, the accused attempted to flee from the station and pulled the fire alarm.
The accused was arrested and held for bail hearing as no suitable residences were found.
The accused was charged with make false fire alarm, and breach probation.
