Youth Charged after Egging House

A 16-year-old local youth is facing multiple charges after egging a home reveals a history of harassment.  


On November 5, 2017 at approximately 3:15 a.m. the complaint was woken by a loud bang at an upstairs window. The window was found to be broken and the accused was seen outside. The accused fled in his vehicle when the complainant yelled at him. The complaint discovered the house had been hit by numerous eggs and a copper lantern that was now laying in pieces on the front lawn.


Police were called and officers learned the accused was angry with the family and specifically one person in the family for the arrest of his brother. For the past few years the accused who lives on the same street has been harassing the family and specifically the one member while she was a youth.


On November 10, 2017 the accused was located at his residence and arrested. He was transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.


The accused was charged with harassment by repeated communication, harassment by threatening conduct, and mischief.
