Woman Arrested after Disturbing Fellow Tenants

A 19-year-old local woman was arrested after multiple tenants reported the accused, also a tenant was suspected to be under the influence of drugs and causing problems.
On November 10, 2017 at approximately 11:30 p.m. police were dispatched to an apartment building on Russell Street. Tenants were reporting that the accused was entering apartments, causing damage, yelling in the halls and “meowing” at them. While on route officers learned the accused was now in her top floor apartment throwing items off the balcony. On arrival officers found multiple items all over the laneway.
The accused was located in her apartment and arrested. She was transported to police headquarters where she was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.
The accused was charged with two counts of mischief, unlawfully in a dwelling, and cause disturbance.
