Man Causes Scene after Guitar Solo Not Appreciated



A 39-year-old local man was arrested after causing a disturbance at the Wolfe Island Ferry dock with loud music and bad behavior.


On June 3, 2017 at approximately 7:00 a.m. the accused was sitting inside the passenger waiting area for the Wolfe Island Ferry. The accused plugged his guitar into an amplifier and began playing. Crew members went to speak with the accused after receiving multiple complaints. The accused became irate prompting a call to police.


Officers attended and spoke to the accused. Officers learned the accused did not intend to take the ferry and he was directed to leave. The accused began ranting and was cautioned by police regarding causing a disturbance. The accused exited the building where he dropped his guitar and amplifier and began yelling and swearing and causing a further disturbance in front of adults and children. The accused was warned multiple times by police, but refused to calm down and leave.


The accused was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.


The accused was charged with cause disturbance and breach of probation.
