Man and Woman Caught in Vacant Hotel Room

A 24-year-old local woman and a 31-year-old local man have both been arrested after officers catch them in vacant hotel room.
On January 10, 2018 police were called to a west end motel for an undesirable male. On arrival officer learned the male had left. While on scene officers noticed damage to an unlocked room. Officers went to investigate with the hotel manager and a male and female were located inside.
The manager reported the two were not guests and did not belong in the room. The female accused was in bed at the time with syringes and other drug paraphernalia. She also had a number of stolen credit cards and personal identification cards not in her name. When asked to identify, both the female and male accused provided false names to officers.
Both accused were arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were held to attend a bail hearing the following day.
The female accused was charged with possession of stolen property, obstruct police, and breach recognizance. The male accused was charged with obstruct police.
