Calls for Service from September 13, 2017

Kingston Police had 133 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on September 12, 2017. Of these, 95 calls occurred in the city central area, 29 in the west end, and 2 in the east end. Some of these included:

  • 2 assault calls
  • 5 harassment calls
  • 2 fight/disturbance calls
  • 5 undesirable calls
  • 1 drunk call
  • 2 alarm calls
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 12 noise complaints
  • 4 missing person calls
  • 7 Mental Health Act calls
  • 2 medical assist calls
  • 8 assist citizen calls
  • 2 break and enter calls
  • 12 theft calls
  • 5 shoplifting calls
  • 1 mischief call
  • 1 fraud call
  • 7 motor vehicle collisions
  • 7 driving complaints
  • 10 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call

 

 

There were 5 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 2 men and 3 women, between 26 and 52 years of age, for the following: theft, carry concealed weapon, possession of a controlled drug, public intoxication, breach peace, breach undertaking, and breach probation.
