Calls for Service from November 9, 2017

Kingston Police had 126 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on November 9, 2017. Of these, 83 calls occurred in the city central area, 20 in the west end, 4 in the east end, and 1 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

 

  • 4 domestic calls
  • 2 assault calls
  • 5 harassment calls
  • 4 fight/disturbance calls
  • 2 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 1 custody dispute call
  • 3 alarm calls
  • 1 noise complaint
  • 1 trouble with kids call
  • 1 missing person call
  • 3 Mental Health Act calls
  • 2 medical assist calls
  • 11 assist citizen calls
  • 4 shoplifting calls
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 2 fraud calls
  • 2 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 parking/vehicle complaint
  • 5 driving complaints
  • 8 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 drug call

 

There were 7 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 5 men and 2 women, between 17 and 56 years of age, for the following: unlawfully in a dwelling, assault, utter threats, breach peace, breach of recognizance, breach undertaking, and breach probation. One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
