Calls for Service from May 17, 2017

Kingston Police had 113 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on May 18, 2017. Of these, 76 calls occurred in the city central area, 23 in the west end, 2 in the east end, and 3 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 4 assault calls
  • 2 sexual assaults
  • 3 harassment calls
  • 2 undesirable calls
  • 1 drunk call
  • 5 alarm calls
  • 1 noise complaint
  • 2 missing person calls
  • 2 Mental Health Act calls
  • 5 medical assist calls
  • 14 assist citizen calls
  • 1 break and enter call
  • 7 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 1 theft of vehicle call
  • 1 mischief call
  • 1 fraud call
  • 7 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 parking/vehicle complaints
  • 7 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 10 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call

 

 

There were 7 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 5 men and 2 women, between 16 and 37 years of age, for the following: sexual assault, break and enter, assault, attempt robbery, utter threats to cause death, mischief, breach probation, breach recognizance.
