Calls for Service from March 15, 2017

Kingston Police had 80 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on March 16, 2017. Of these, 58 calls occurred in the city central area, 15 in the west end, 2 in the east end, and 3 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 1 sexual assault
  • 1 harassment call
  • 1 fight/disturbance call
  • 2 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 4 alarm calls
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 1 noise complaint
  • 4 Mental Health Act calls
  • 4 medical assist calls
  • 9 assist citizen calls
  • 4 theft calls
  • 1 shoplifting call
  • 3 mischief calls
  • 1 fraud call
  • 8 motor vehicle collisions
  • 2 impaired driving calls
  • 5 driving complaints
  • 3 suspicious activity calls

 

 

There were 7 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 5 men and 2 women, between 23 and 51 years of age, for the following offences: impaired driving, operating a vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol, drive while disqualified and mischief.
