Calls for Service from July 11, 2017

Kingston Police had 103 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on July 11, 2017. Of these, 64 calls occurred in the city central area, 23 in the west end, 5 in the east end, and 1 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

 

  • 2 domestic calls
  • 2 assault calls
  • 2 harassment calls
  • 2 fight/disturbance calls
  • 5 undesirable calls
  • 2 drunk calls
  • 2 alarm calls
  • 2 neighbour dispute calls
  • 1 noise complaint
  • 1 missing person call
  • 2 Mental Health Act calls
  • 1 medical assist call
  • 1 break and enter call
  • 2 theft calls
  • 4 shoplifting calls
  • 1 theft of vehicle call
  • 1 mischief call
  • 2 fraud calls
  • 3 motor vehicle collisions
  • 5 driving complaints
  • 5 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call
  • 1 drug call

There were 11 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 7 men and 4 women, between 16 and 51 years of age, for the following: theft under $5000, possession of stolen property, public intoxication, breach recognizance, and breach probation. Six persons were arrested on outstanding warrants.
