Calls for Service from January 11, 2018

Kingston Police had 132 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on January 11, 2018. Of these, 86 calls occurred in the city central area, 33 in the west end, 2 in the east end, and 2 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 2 assault calls
  • 1 sexual assault
  • 5 harassment calls
  • 1 weapons offence call
  • 4 fight/disturbance calls
  • 6 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 6 alarm calls
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 3 noise complaints
  • 4 missing person calls
  • 1 Mental Health Act call
  • 2 medical assist calls
  • 7 assist citizen calls
  • 2 break and enter calls
  • 10 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 1 mischief call
  • 1 fraud call
  • 5 motor vehicle collisions
  • 2 parking/vehicle complaints
  • 3 driving complaints
  • 6 traffic concerns
  • 9 suspicious activity calls
  • 2 drug calls

 

 

There were 8 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 5 men and 3 women, between 23 and 42 years of age, for the following: possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, sexual assault, assault, assault with a weapon, choking, uttering threats, mischief, resist arrest, theft, breach recognizance, and breach probation.
