Calls for Service from December 5, 2017

Kingston Police had 141 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on December 5, 2017. Of these, 96 calls occurred in the city central area, 27 in the west end, 3 in the east end, and 1 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 2 assault calls
  • 1 sexual assault
  • 4 harassment calls
  • 5 fight/disturbance calls
  • 11 undesirable calls
  • 7 alarm calls
  • 1 noise complaint
  • 2 missing person calls
  • 3 Mental Health Act calls
  • 1 medical assist call
  • 9 assist citizen calls
  • 4 break and enter calls
  • 12 theft calls
  • 2 theft of vehicle call
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 4 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 parking/vehicle complaint
  • 4 driving complaints
  • 2 traffic concerns
  • 8 suspicious activity calls

 

 

There were 10 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 7 men and 3 women, between 13 and 52 years of age, for the following: break and enter, possession of break-in tools, possession of a controlled substance, theft, willfully cause unnecessary suffering to an animal, sexual assault, resist arrest, possession of stolen property, and breach probation. One person was arrested on a warrant.
