Calls for Service from April 19, 2017

Kingston Police had 120 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on April 19, 2017. Of these, 81 calls occurred in the city central area, 22 in the west end, 2 in the east end, and 3 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 2 assault calls
  • 1 harassment call
  • 1 weapons offence call
  • 6 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 2 custody dispute calls
  • 2 alarm calls
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 2 noise complaints
  • 1 trouble with kids call
  • 2 Mental Health Act calls
  • 2 medical assist calls
  • 7 assist citizen calls
  • 3 break and enter calls
  • 10 theft calls
  • 1 shoplifting call
  • 7 mischief calls
  • 3 fraud calls
  • 3 motor vehicle collisions
  • 6 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 8 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call

There were 6 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 3 men and 3 women, between 16 and 53 years of age, for the following: breach of probation, breach undertaking, and public intoxication. One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
