Calls for Service from April 18, 2017

Kingston Police had 134 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on April 18, 2017. Of these, 76 calls occurred in the city central area, 27 in the west end, 10 in the east end, and 3 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 5 harassment calls
  • 3 weapons offence calls
  • 2 fight/disturbance calls
  • 1 undesirable call
  • 2 alarm calls
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 1 trouble with kids call
  • 5 missing person calls
  • 3 Mental Health Act calls
  • 4 medical assist calls
  • 8 assist citizen calls
  • 1 break and enter call
  • 13 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 3 mischief calls
  • 4 fraud calls
  • 6 motor vehicle collisions
  • 6 driving complaints
  • 11 suspicious activity calls

 

 

 

 

 

There were 10 men arrested within the last 24 hours, between 26 and 48 years of age, for the following: assault, utter threats to cause death, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, possession of stolen property, prowl at night, break and enter, mischief over $5000, theft, possession of a controlled drug, possession of break and enter tools, utter forged documents, fraud, and breach of probation. One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
