Calls for Service from April 12, 2018

Kingston Police had 117 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on April 12, 2018. Of these, 83 calls occurred in the city central area, 23 in the west end, 2 in the east end, and 2 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

 

  • 9 domestic calls
  • 1 assault call
  • 1 sexual assault
  • 5 harassment calls
  • 2 fight/disturbance calls
  • 3 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 3 custody dispute calls
  • 1 alarm call
  • 2 neighbour dispute calls
  • 2 Mental Health Act calls
  • 3 medical assist calls
  • 11 assist citizen calls
  • 3 break and enter calls
  • 6 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 2 fraud calls
  • 6 motor vehicle collisions
  • 2 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 12 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call

 

There were 11 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 10 men and 1 woman, between 14 and 51 years of age, for the following: aggravated assault, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, administer noxious chemical, sexual assault, harassment by threatening conduct, assault cause bodily harm, breach recognizance, and breach probation. Five persons were arrested on warrants.
