Calls for Service from April 11, 2018

Kingston Police had 135 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on April 11, 2018. Of these, 101 calls occurred in the city central area, 26 in the west end, 2 in the east end, and 4 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 1 assault call
  • 4 harassment calls
  • 3 weapons offence calls
  • 3 fight/disturbance calls
  • 5 undesirable calls
  • 1 alarm call
  • 2 neighbour dispute calls
  • 2 missing person calls
  • 1 Mental Health Act call
  • 3 medical assist calls
  • 9 assist citizen calls
  • 2 break and enter calls
  • 7 theft calls
  • 1 shoplifting call
  • 1 mischief call
  • 1 fraud call
  • 8 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 impaired driving call
  • 6 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 17 suspicious activity calls
  • 3 drug calls

 

There were 8 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 6 men and 2 women, between 19 and 49 years of age, for the following: assault, mischief, utter threats, theft, fail to appear, breach recognizance, and breach probation. Three persons were arrested on warrants.
