Update: Police Investigating Fatal Collision involving pedestrian

An investigation by the Traffic Safety Unit concluded that the driver is not at fault and therefore no charges will be laid in relation to this vehicle and pedestrian collision.
At the request of the family the name of the deceased will not be released.

On December 31, 2018 at approximately 7:10 p.m. a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Princess Street just west of Bath Road. The pedestrian, a 32-year-old female not from Kingston, suffered fatal injuries.
Kingston Police Collision Reconstruction Officers responded to the collision scene. At this time the investigation is on-going and charges if any, have yet to be determined.
