Police Execute Search Warrant, 2 Charged for Drugs and Stolen Property

On November 22, 2018 the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit obtained a search warrant for a residence on Princess Street. At approximately 3:00 p.m. the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit and Street Crime Unit executed the warrant. The male and female accused were both found inside the residence. The male was caught in a top floor bathroom attempting to flush baggies of suspected fentanyl. Both the male and female were arrested while four other parties were questioned and released.
During a search of the residence officers located unlabeled pill bottles containing suspected hydromorphone, and additional baggies containing suspected fentanyl. Officers also found valuable property believed to be stolen, including four laptops and two high end bicycles.
Both accused were transported to police headquarters where they were held to attend a bail hearings the following day.
The 36-year-old male and 36-year-old female were charged jointly with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime. The male accused was additionally charged with breach undertaking.
