A Vulnerable Persons Registry has been accessible for Kingston residents since September 2018. The on-line registry is voluntary and free of charge. The purpose of the registry is to provide Kingston Police with immediate information in an urgent situation involving a vulnerable person. Helpful information includes physical descriptors, a current photograph, habits, and best communication techniques for the individual. The registry process is not difficult and you can get started on registering a loved one at


We are promoting the registry in the hopes of increasing the numbers. The Alzheimers Society of Kingston Frontenac Leeds and Addington is available to assist anyone with the registration process.
