Calls for Service for January 9, 2019

Kingston Police had 138 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on January 9, 2019. Of these, 105 calls occurred in the city central area, 20 in the west end, and 7 in the east end. Some of these included:

  • 4 fight/disturbance calls
  • 6 undesirable calls
  • 2 customer trouble calls
  • 2 custody dispute calls
  • 3 alarm calls
  • 2 neighbour dispute calls
  • 5 noise complaints
  • 4 Mental Health Act calls
  • 5 medical assist calls
  • 16 assist citizen calls
  • 3 break and enter calls
  • 7 theft calls
  • 3 shoplifting calls
  • 3 fraud calls
  • 3 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 parking/vehicle complaint
  • 3 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 6 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call
  • 1 panhandling call

 

 

There were 8 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 7 men and 1 woman, between 15 and 48 years of age, for the following: voyeurism, possess weapon dangerous to public peace, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, breach undertaking, and three counts breach probation.
