Kingston Police had 104 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on January 10, 2019. Of these, 65 calls occurred in the city central area, 28 in the west end, 5 in the east end, and 2 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

 

  • 2 domestic calls
  • 2 sexual assaults
  • 1 harassment call
  • 3 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 3 custody dispute calls
  • 1 alarm call
  • 3 noise complaints
  • 1 medical assist call
  • 9 assist citizen calls
  • 2 break and enter calls
  • 9 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 4 fraud calls
  • 5 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 parking/vehicle complaint
  • 4 driving complaints
  • 9 suspicious activity calls

 

There were 2 men arrested within the last 24 hours between 26 and 71 years of age, for the following: break and enter and breach probation.
