Break and enter suspect located and arrested in London, Ontario

On November 23, 2018 at approximately 2:30 p.m. the accused and an accomplice were seen entering a private office at a local golf club. The two removed a large safe on a dolly and loaded it into their vehicle.
The value of the safe and its contents was just over $1000. Kingston Police Detectives investigated and were able to identify the accused with the assistance of London Police. The whereabouts of the accused were unknown and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On January 10, 2019 the accused was arrested by London Police Service. Kingston Police attended London and transported the accused to Kingston Police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.
A 71-year-old local man was charged with break and enter.
