UPDATE: Police Seeking Public's Assistance in Locating Elderly Missing Woman

Missing person Linda Collinson is now safe. On December 17, 2018 at approximately 9:30 a.m. staff at a facility on Queen's Campus located an elderly female and contacted Queen’s Emergency Report Center, who believed from the description it was Linda Collinson. Queen’s security was dispatched, confirmed her identify and police were contacted.

Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Linda Collinson, a local 74-year-old woman, who went missing on Saturday, December 15.


During the afternoon of December 15 Collinson was last seen in the area of Kingston General Hospital. There is a concern for her well-being and she can become confused at times. In the past she has been known to go the areas of King St West and around Providence Care. Current searches by police have yet to result in her being located.     


She is described as Caucasian, 5’7” in height, 140 pounds, with long grey straight hair. She is believed to be wearing a purple winter coat with a shiny red top underneath, and black winter boots. She uses a walker for assistance. She is described as having lost weight following the taking of the attached photos.
