On October 28 2021, Kingston Police were called to the parking lot of 410 Bath Rd. in relation to a suspicious activity call. At approximately 10:23 pm police received information that individuals were sitting in a vehicle and were observed operating a drone in close proximity to Collins Bay Institution.

Police arrived on scene and located the involved vehicle with two males inside. While speaking with the males, police observed several wrapped items believed to be narcotics inside of the vehicle.

The two males were subsequently arrested just before 10:30pm. During the search of the individuals and the vehicle, incident to the arrest, several items were located including various quantities of narcotics, drug paraphernalia as well as a loaded 9mm hand gun.

Both individuals were charged jointly

1. POSSESS FIREARM OTHER THAN RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED FIREARM WITHOUT HOLDING A LICENCE
2. POSSESS PROHIBITED/RESTRICTED WEAPON OR PROHIBITED DEVICE
3. OCCUPY MOTOR VEHICLE WITH FIREARM, ETC
4. POSSESS LOADED REGULATED FIREARM
5. CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT AN INDICTABLE OFFENCE/GENERAL x 3
6. POSSESS SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE FOR TRAFFICKING x 3
