Update: February 8, 2019

Only nine days after masked suspects fired shots through windows of a Fraser Street apartment, detectives with the Kingston Police major crime have identified and arrested a fourth man. He was one of the masked suspects caught on security video. 

The man was arrested on February 7, 2019 at approximately 2:40 p.m. as Kingston police officers apprehended him driving away from a residence on Highway 26 in North Augusta. The accused was then transported to Kingston police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing. 

A 37-year-old man, Joseph Edward Wilson from Brockville is charged with attempt robbery, attempt break and enter, have face disguised to commit an offence, two counts of attempt murder, four counts of reckless discharge of a firearm, use firearm to commit an offence, possession of a firearm while prohibited, possession of a firearm without a licence, and breach probation. 

The investigation is on-going as detectives continue to search for the second getaway car, the dark coloured SUV, and to identify the registered owner. Detectives are also still in search of the firearms used in this incident.

Update: February 5, 2019

On February 4, 2019 Detectives with the Kingston Police major crime unit identified the driver of a vehicle involved in the January 29 shooting incident on Fraser Street. At approximately 2:25 p.m. detectives tracked the accused down and located him exiting a vehicle on Delhi Street. The accused was arrested and during a search found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and crystal meth.

The accused was transported to police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing.

A 30-year-old man, Joseph Ferguson from Brockville is charged with attempt robbery, attempt break and enter, two counts of attempt murder, four counts of reckless discharge of a firearm, and use firearm to commit an offence in relation to the incident of January 29. As a result of his arrest the accused is also charged with two counts of possession of a control, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Update: February 4, 2019

On February 1, 2019 Detectives with the Kingston Police major crime unit formed grounds to arrest two of the three suspect from the January 29 shooting incident on Fraser Street. At approximately 5:45 p.m. Kingston Police with the assistance of Brockville Police attended an address in Brockville and located the two known suspects. Both suspects were arrested and transported to Kingston Police headquarters where they were held to attend a bail hearing.

A 53-year-old man, Everett Timothy Telgen from Brockville is charged with two counts of attempt murder, four counts of reckless discharge of a firearm, three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited, possession of a firearm without a licence, have face disguised to commit an offence, break and enter, and breach probation.

A 31-year-old man, Jeffrey Burtch from Perth is charged with two counts of attempt murder, four counts of reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a licence, have face disguised to commit an offence, break and enter, and breach probation.

On January 29, 2019 at approximately 3:15 a.m. the victims were in their apartment on Fraser Street, when the accused parties began pounding on their door, demanding money. All three suspects were wearing ski masks, while one was carrying a silver handgun and another a camouflaged shotgun.

The suspects were unable to gain access and as they fled the building they fired multiple shots into the apartment windows. At least one round went through a young child’s bedroom window, however no one was injured.

The suspects were last seen driving away in two different vehicles, a light coloured car and dark coloured SUV.
