Kingston Police investigators and members of the ROPE squad are continuing their efforts in locating Paul MacDonald who is wanted on multiple domestic related charges of assault, possession of a weapon, uttering threats and theft.

Kingston Police released details of the incident that involved Paul MacDonald back on September 15, 2021 who has managed to evade Police for over three months. It is unknown if Paul MacDonald is currently in the Kingston area, however Investigators are aware that he has contacts in other areas of the Province including Little Britain (Lindsay), Trenton and Perth.

Wanted male sought following violent domestic related incident

Kingston Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted on numerous intimate partner violence charges stemming from an incident that occurred on September 4, 2021 on Kingsdale Avenue in the City of Kingston.

On this date the accused, Paul MACDONALD, attended the residence of his girlfriend, the victim, who refused him entry to her home as he had been consuming drugs and alcohol on this occasion. MACDONALD remained in front of the residence and was eventually allowed access by another family member. Once inside the residence an argument ensued with the victim and, after following her to an upstairs bedroom, he proceeded to strike her in the head numerous times with closed fists. MACDONALD then pulled out a knife that he had in his possession and proceeded to begin slashing at the victim who was finally able to escape from the home at which time police were contacted.

Police responded and searched extensively for MACDONALD with negative results in locating him. His current whereabouts are unknown.

The victim sustained numerous facial injuries and lacerations to her body as a result of the attack and was later transported to Kingston General Hospital for treatment.

The accused is currently being sought on charges of assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, uttering threats to cause death, and theft under $5000.

MACDONALD is described as a Caucasian male, 44 years of age, standing 5'5", weighing 120 lbs, with a slim build, and medium complexion. He has a shaved head with a brown beard, and blue eyes.
